As the Vice President of Programs, Heather creates programs to address the professional development and performance improvement needs of members and the business community. Staying connected with other regional chapters to keep informed of key trends and topics relevant to learning professionals, Heather works to organize learning opportunities, including bi-monthly programs and networking activities.
With 20 years of experience in higher education, Heather has a strong background in leadership development, time management, goal setting, and onboarding. Heather recently transitioned to a role as a Learning Experience Designer at FM, where she designs effective learning solutions for field engineers.
In her free time, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, volunteering at her daughter's elementary school, and serving as a Representative Town Meeting member for her community. She loves to bake (chocolate chip cookies especially) and read.
